Mexico: Cancun: The City

Maybe many solo travelers and backpackers like me hated Cancun, but somehow I found it a very comfortable and convenient place to be, that I stayed 5 nights here, 4 of them in the same hostel (Mundo Joven) near the bus terminal.
I arrived in Cancun on 23 May 2011 flying from Las Vegas.
Cancun was a convenient place as hub to many destinations like the pyramid Chichen Itza, the popular beach Playa del Carmen, the ruin in the beach Tulum and many other tourist places.
Cancun could be seen at 2 separates area, the city center or downtown where the bus terminals, government and commercial offices located, and the hotel zone, where luxurious hotels are located just front of the white sand beach.
Most of the time, I stayed in the city because of the convenience. The hotel zone was 10 minutes bus ride (8 peso or USD 1).
My first breakfast in Mexico, in a nice organic restaurant called "100% Natural"
