Habana Vieja and Centro Habana (I didn't the limit between 2 areas) was part of the city where the historical and beautiful colonial buildings were located.
Obispo Street was the street where many nice bars and restaurants with live music were located.
The Capitol or parlement building, the national ballet theater, the national museums, rum and cigar museums were also located in this area.
On 27 May 2011, the two Chinese girls I met earlier in a cafe in Vedado, after having nice lunch together took me around this area.
We went climbing the observatory deck near a square. The observatory deck had a unique telescope where we could see the city by the reflection on the parabola. The guide said that she was happy with her job because she could spy on her husband by the telescope... :)
